So, “it’s harpening.” We found a new storefront and put a deposit down on it last Monday. Super-Fly Comics and Games is looking to open Wednesday the 29th, which yes, is the Wednesday after my wedding. We hit a little snag with financing, but I think we’re going to be okay. Now we’re just waiting for the LLC papers to come in the mail (probably tomorrow or Thursday), and then its Federal ID number and vendors license. In the meantime we’re picking out fixtures and trying to figure out the other myriad little details we need to get ironed out (phone & utilities, credit card processing, back account, etc).

You may think that this would be distracting from the wedding, but it’s not. I’m still ridiculously excited to get married, although at this point I’m ready to just have it be time and do it and then party party party. For ever.

So yeah, Super-Fly. It’s not just a store, it’s a way of life.
