This Week (sort-of) in Things I Did

I’m prepping myself for New York Comic-Con, so while I do that (and crunch away at the latest Winston & Churchill story) I thought I’d share some stuff that’s been going down as of late.

The Super-Fly Podcast Episode 118

This week, Jared returns to the show with stories of drunk bridesmaids and sickness. Talk of kids trying to haggle in retail stores, Letter Math, emails from an old friend, remembering Johnny Storm and his ridiculous “death”, the show turning into Super Fly Psychiatry , Samuel L Jackson NEEDING to play Prince Adam in the Masters of the Universe remake, more Marvel NOW! books including Marvel Battle Royal aka Avengers Arena and more. Listen in.

The Super-Fly Podcast: “Hey I just met you, and this is crazy, but my heart is beating, Kali Mah me maybe?” (ed’s note: This may have been the greatest thing I’ve ever said on the internet)

Opening music: Metal Fingers – Orris Root

Closing music: Metal Fingers – Charnsuka

Be sure to check the hashtag #SuperFlyPodcast on Twitter and follow along with the show.

Note: This and every PoP!-Cast is earmarked by iTunes as “explicit” and is intended for mature audiences. The rest of Panels on Pages is reasonably safe for all-ages.

Feel free to leave comments either here or on the official Super-Fly Podcast thread on the forums.

The latest installment of my monthly Best of the Back Pages feature for Panels on Pages came out a while ago, but I’d forgotten to put a link to it up here. There’s some interesting stuff in the Diamond Comic’s Previews catalog this September and they can still be ordered through your local comic shop.

So with that out of the way I’m off to research QR codes, study for a drivers exam on Monday, design new business cards and hopefully not have some sort of freakout by weeks end…
