If you’re looking to see a spectacular failure, you’re invited to gaze at the new counter I’ve added on the sidebar of the webpage, which proudly displays my current word count for NaNoWriMo. 50,000 words in 30 days, and I started a day late and had a second day with about 500 words? Sure, no prob. At my current count, I have to average 2005.7826086956521739130434782609 words a day. Including Thanksgiving and the day after.
Sure, no sweat.
I’m trying not to make it a big deal, but maybe it is a big deal. Maybe if I can’t do this I can’t do it all. How much do I want it? How hard am I willing to work for it.
Well, we’ll find out, won’t we?

I’ve been looking at your spectacular feature of the NNWM thingamajig. 9,775 words so far. I’ll send some coffee to you.
Oh, and I figured out how to leave comments. Apparently, I had to register with your blog with a username. Spiffy, but here I am… Write, write, and more writing to you.-Nick
