What would 11 feet of snow spend $10,000 on?
I had to check in with my folks in Sackets to make sure they weren’t entombed in icy death crystals, and thankfully they are okay. Oswego is the place that got the most snow, and my Dad even said people are driving out there to see the 11 feet of snow. Yes, let’s make a trip there, it sounds like a great place to die in an icy wreck.
Finally getting past the cold. I took some apparently unnecessary DayQuill on Monday and spent most of the day in a semi-drunk fog. Not cool. Aside from a constant stream of snot out of my right nostril, I seem to be on the mend.
We got our giant piles of snow late last night, and we’re slowly making our way through them. I’m hoping it clears up soon, as we’re going down to Portsmouth on Sunday, meeting with a wedding planner-esque person, and I’ll finally get a chance to see where the wedding and reception are actually happening. I’ve seen pictures, but I’m eager to be able to picture it for real.
We got free passes to Ghost Rider at work for Thursday night, and I’d like to go, even though Kenzie is on the fence. We may get a whole group from the store to go, and frankly, they need guys like us to see it. Every time there’s a big comic movie like this, we get asked about it a dozen times a day. They need the nerd vote.
I’m realizing that I’m a bad nerd because I’m just now getting around to reading the complete “Bone” series, which Chris tried for years to get me to read but I just never did. It’s really, really good, and while I’m sorry I hadn’t read it before, I’m glad that I’ve finally gotten around to it.
